Productions are an ultimate pathway for all ATYP participants. Young audiences are inspired by seeing people their age on stage and learning they can be involved themselves, either through drama workshops, our national playwriting programs, or education programs.
Delivering productions however come at a significant cost. ATYP works hard to acquire government or corporate funding, but funding for the development of new productions is highly competitive. Giving to support ATYP Productions will demonstrate your commitment to excellence in the performing arts and you’ll be supporting the productions that launch the next generation of Australia’s professional artists.
Donations of $2 or more to ATYP’s productions are tax-deductible for Australian tax-payers. Simply click on the secure Give Now 'Make a Donation button' above, or contact Andrew Deane (02 9270 2421) for further information.
ATYP established the Producers’ Circle that draws together a community of generous benefactors who have made our 2016 program of productions possible. They do this by contributing $5,000 annually soley for productions. Each year the Producers’ Circle helps ATYP reach new audiences, support the development of exceptional young artists, showcase the new Australian works of our leading playwrights, and create theatre that inspires the nation. ATYP is also leveraging this support to secure further funding for productions and production equipment.
ATYP is very grateful to the following donors for their support of ATYP 2016 productions through the Producers’ Circle (list current as of 29.03.2017):
Robert Albert AO & Libby Albert
