ATYP has several giving avenues so you can decide where you would like to lend support! Our donors are an important part of our community and receive regular updates about our programs and the impact of their donation. If theatre and enriching the lives of young people is something you are passionate about, we’d love to hear from you!
By donating to ATYP, you are playing a major part in shaping Australia’s leading national youth theatre company. Here are some of the ways you can be involved:
GENERAL SUPPORT
Did you know that, with the withdrawal of Australia Council support, just 7% of our operational funding comes from government sources. Donating to General Support allows us to channel your donation to the place it’s most needed, helping us continue the diverse range of programs the company runs each year.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Access is central to the ethos of ATYP. This is why we allocate 10% of all holiday and weekly semester-long ensemble workshop places as scholarships to young people at risk or in difficult circumstances; young people who would not otherwise have access to the performing arts.
PRODUCTION FUND
Many well-known performers had their start at ATYP. The ATYP Production Fund commits to excellence in the performing arts by supporting our fully-professional productions which launch the next generation of Australia’s industry artists.
ADÈLE JEFFREYS MEMORIAL FUND
Established in loving memory of ATYP’s late Education Manager Adèle Jeffreys, the Fund will support the development of interactive, participatory learning spaces that recognise Adele’s vision to ensure young Australians have access to transformative theatre experiences.
