Due to the Greater Sydney lockdown, we unfortunately have had to cancel the remainder of the Sydney season of Follow Me Home, and the rest of our Holiday Drama Workshop program. Read on for an update on these and ATYP’s other programs.

What does this mean:

FOR FOLLOW ME HOME TICKET HOLDERS
Those who have tickets to Follow Me Home will be contacted by Griffin Theatre Company with two options regarding their tickets for cancelled performances; donate the cost of your ticket to ATYP, or receive a full refund.

We would like to extend our love and thoughts to all the performers and creatives who have put an incredible effort into bringing these important stories to the stage. We also want to use this opportunity to send our love to all affected artists in the Sydney (and beyond) arts community. We hope to see everyone creating and sharing stories again soon.

FOR HOLIDAY WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS
Following on from our update last Friday (25 June), Week 1 Holiday Drama Workshop participants are in the process of being contacted regarding their full refunds. We will then move on to contacting those who were booked in for the Week 2 courses (5-9 July) and processing those refunds. However, we are excited to bring back ATYP Online – a virtual and online workshop offering.

Starting from July 1, ATYP Online will be offering short drama courses (2-day and 5-day options available) for K-12. See the full workshop offering on our Workshops page.

FOR WEEKLY WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS
At this point, we are monitoring the updates and advice from the NSW Government around the current lockdown and will make a decision about our Weekly Drama Workshops closer to the end of the current lockdown (9 July). For the moment, Weekly Drama Workshops will proceed as planned.

FOR NATIONAL STUDIO PARTICIPANTS
Unfortunately, we have made the decision to postpone the upcoming 2021 National Studio program to a later date this year. Participants have been contacted and we will provide more information as soon as we are able.

FOR SOUL TRADING/SHACK AUDITIONEES
We have made the decision to postpone Soul Trading and Shack auditions by a week. All auditionees with existing bookings have been contacted to reschedule their audition time. If you would like to book an audition, they will now take place on Saturday 17 July (10am – 4pm). You can book an audition here.
