Past and Present Unit (F-2)

This unit explores continuity, change, memory and how students’ lives are similar or different to people’s lives in the past.

In this unit, teachers use drama and literacy strategies to enable students to learn about the concepts of past and present through quality sources, objects, images and stories and literature including Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge by Mem Fox and Miss Franklin by Libby Haythorn.

Here is a sneak peek of one of the exercises, ‘Egg Memories’ where students explore a memory through a drama and mime exercise.
