IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE: 25 JUNE 2021

At ATYP, our first priority is always the care and safety of our community, including all young participants enrolled in any of our programs and their families, our teaching staff, artists, creative teams, audiences who attend our productions, staff, and board.
ATYP is actively monitoring news and advice around the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and has measures in place to ensure our community is protected.
We are following current advice and guidelines as per NSW Health, particularly regarding self-isolation protocols for the LGAs of City of Sydney, Randwick, Waverley, and Woollhara. If you have travelled to, or had contact with someone returning from a hotspot area, please follow advice from the Australian Government.
Holiday Drama Workshop Participants:
We have made the sad, yet necessary decision to cancel the first week of our Holiday Drama Workshop program (28 June – 2 July). Our team will be working through all the enrolments and processing full refunds to all who are enrolled. You will be emailed or contacted by phone over the coming days regarding your refund. For those enrolled in the second week of Holiday Drama Workshops (5–9 July), we are monitoring advice from the NSW Government, and are hopeful that this week of courses will be able to continue as planned. We will be in touch with Week 2 participants in early July regarding classes. Full refunds are available if you do not feel comfortable attending a class in this week. Please get in touch with us via email to arrange your refund.
Theatre Audiences:
Unfortunately, we have made the necessary decision to cancel performances of the Sydney season of Follow Me Home at the SBW Stables Theatre in Kings Cross (Home of Griffin Theatre Company) until and inclusive of Friday 2 July. We are optimistic that the closing performance on Saturday 3 July will be able to go ahead, so we can celebrate this beautiful production. At this point, the national tour of the production will proceed as planned, though we are continually monitoring advice from the NSW and interstate governments.
