ATYP’s Young Industry Studio is designed for young performers who are seeking more depth and detail in their process as actors.
The Young Industry Studio course provides participants with an introduction into the preparation and skills that are used within a professional theatre process. Students will audition for roles, develop rehearsal room skills, and work with a range of industry professions (director, writer, designers and more). The course steps actors through a professional production process, from the read-through and design presentation at the beginning of rehearsals through to tech week and a season of a newly commissioned play performed in The Rebel Theatre at ATYP.
Entry into this class is via Audition Only and commitment to every class is vital. Full and partial scholarships are available for this program on application.
Apply to audition via the link below. Applications are to be submitted by Sunday 14th January. Auditions will take place in daytime sessions across 20th – 21st January. The audition schedule will be sent on Wednesday 16th, and all applicants will be notified of outcome by 25th January.
