On January 16th 2021, six ATYP-ers volunteered to check out something new and visit a place they had only ever heard about…
Proudly supported by the City of Sydney and in collaboration with young people, ATYP’s Exploring Kings Cross is a virtual tour that showcases the accessibility and vibrancy of Sydney’s iconic inner-city suburb, Kings Cross, through a new set of eyes.
Come with us to explore the art, culture, and history of the Cross, and most importantly, its vibrant theatre scene!

WHAT COULD YOU WIN?
First place prize:
- an ATYP Holiday Workshop voucher OR an ATYP Industry Studio voucher (valid for 12 months)
- a double pass to one ATYP show at the SBW Stables Theatre (Valid for Follow Me Home, Shack & Soul Trading)

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Step One: Watch the Exploring Kings Cross Video above.
Step Two: Visit Kings Cross and take a selfie in front of 3 of ANY of the following street artworks as seen in the video.

Step Three: Fill in the entry form below and upload your 3 selfies to go into the running to win an ATYP gift pack.
Please note:
- Competition is open to young people aged 5-26 years of age. Please note that if you are below the age of 13, we recommend you bring your older siblings or parents/guardians along with you!
- Entry into the competition is FREE!
- If you completed the competition with another young person, each person will need to fill in a separate entry form. (A prompt in the entry form will allow you to add your partner/s name/s)
- Entrants must complete the online entry form and fill in all required fields.
- Late entries will not be accepted.
- Winners will be drawn 5th May 2021.
- Winners will be contacted on/after 5th May 2021. Gift bags will be sent to you or will be available for pick up at our office in Woolloomooloo.
- Winners will be announced publicly 14th May 2021, on our Instagram page, Facebook page and website.
