Walk on the Wild Side is a fun, walking tour and theatre workshop. Young people from ATYP (Australian Theatre for Young People) will lead you from site to site, telling you stories of interest about Kings Cross including iconic places such as the coke sign, the fountain and the many theatre venues.
You’ll start and finish at the Hayes Theatre, where you’ll get a backstage tour of the theatre and the set of Merrily we roll along.
The experience will finish with a stagecraft workshop and a slice of pizza!
Walk on the Wild Side is a new and innovative experience as part of Youth Fest. Designed for young people aged 11-17 it is an interactive experience, working with ATYP tutors and other young people interested in theatre!
