Hello and welcome to May at ATYP!
Our next production for 2023 opens in 2 weeks! Set in the Top End of Australia, CUSP is an ode to young people and serves as a reminder of the inherent privilege of being able to make your own choices, especially when faced with life-altering decisions. CUSP plays in The Rebel Theatre for a limited 2-week season before setting out on a national tour across the country, so book your tickets now!
We have just opened applications for Fresh Ink Perth, co-presented with Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA. Thanks to the generosity of Black Swan State Theatre Company, all Perth participants will have their participation fee of $400 waived. This is in addition to the already generous support from the Jibb Foundation, so every person successfully selected for Fresh Ink receives a full scholarship valued at $3,000. Applications close Friday 19 May, so get yours in ASAP.
We’re getting the warm woollies on our Winter School Holiday Workshop Program, so keep your eyes peeled on ATYP’s socials and website for when workshops are released. You’ll want to get in quickly – these are set to sell out fast!
To round things off, Term 2 of our Semester 1 Weekly Drama Classes has kicked off! We will keep enrolments open for the next few days so if you’re looking for a last-minute dramatic activity, book a workshop today.
