ATYP appoints Adrienne Vaughan as Executive Director, Strategy

ATYP is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrienne Vaughan as its new Executive Director, Strategy.

Fraser Corfield, Artistic Director of ATYP said “We are thrilled to have Adrienne join the Executive team at ATYP. She combines her exceptional experience in marketing and strategic communications with the personal experience of being a part of the company as a young person. She knows what the company does and the impact we have on the lives of young Australians.”

The role is pivotal in communicating the opportunity ATYP provides young people, and overseeing Marketing and Development. Adrienne said “Having had the opportunity to go to ATYP when I was younger, I understand the power of youth arts. It is so much more than theatre skills alone. It’s the chance for autonomy, confidence building, a place to be accepted, to express yourself, and an opportunity to experience difference and diversity. My time in the arts gave me best friends for life, those who I still call on, share ideas and collaborate with which is why I am deeply passionate about this role. The mental health benefits of being involved in the arts are abundant and supported by research.”
