Year K-2 Saturday Drama Ensemble

Description

Description

Discover the joy of performance through creative play. This course is designed to
encourage young people to work together, explore their imaginations and gain self-confidence. Each week participants will gain skills in creating and playing new characters, making new worlds and developing their storytelling techniques.

Our workshops are semester based and run throughout the school terms. The first term of each semester will focus on developing acting, performance and creative collaboration skills. The second term will continue developing these skills as students work with their teaching artist to create an end-of-semester showcase performance performed at The Rebel Theatre. This can be focused on scripts or devised work using the students’ original creative ideas.
