VX18504 was the army service number of Sergeant Mick (Clifford Matthew Tankard), Meryl Tankard’s father.

In this exuberant and thought-provoking blend of theatre and dance, Meryl Tankard explores the origins of conflict in our society, from childhood cruelty and backyard brawls to the ravages of war. Profoundly moving, this unique theatrical experience speaks to audiences of all ages, amplified by the humour, optimism and boundless energy of a youthful cast.

VX18504 was originally created for Meryl Tankard’s Company in Canberra. This production is be performed by Australia’s flagship theatre company for young people, ATYP, with visual imagery by artist, Regis Lansac.
