Our young explorers, in the ghostly footsteps of Ernest Shackleton, question the nature of power and the power of nature, as the limit of their courage are pushed into uncharted waters.
A hypothermic flurry of comedy and thriller, Shack explores the territory between teen anxiety and teen invincibility. Young people are being called on to lead like never before, but how do they learn to step up, when sometimes just existing is hard enough?!

The ATYP Foundation Commission invests in work for young people to perform. Developed by ATYP and published by Playlab, we are creating a canon of work for young actors aged 10-13. This is your chance to see this exciting new Australian work before it goes on to be performed by schools and youth theatres around the country.
