Discover the art of character development and story-telling, developing your ideas to create and perform scenes from a variety of genres and styles. Work collaboratively with an ATYP artist and your classmates on scenes, exploring acting skills including character motivations, objectives and given circumstances.
Through rehearsals and performance young artists learn the basics of stagecraft, voice and performance techniques as well as being introduced to industry theatre terminology and practice. Guided by an ATYP industry professional these classes will equip participants with the skills and terminology needed as they progress into the senior classes.
Making use of interactive programs from our ATYP Studio, online weekly classes bring the drama experience to your living room, kitchen, backyard or wherever! Students will still get the chance to connect with an ATYP artist and their fellow classmates each week to connect, create, express and perform.
If you are interested in a SOLD OUT course, please contact ATYP to discuss other options or to be put on a waitlist.
