Description
The last of our junior classes starts to introduce participants to the theatre terminology that we use in the industry and to create exciting stories and great performances. This course is designed to give participants specific skills in plot development, character creation and to explore the idea of given circumstances and devising.
First term classes will focus on skill development and ensemble work, while the second term gives students a chance to use these skills and work together to devise a scripted show. Through rehearsals and performance young artists learn the basics of stagecraft, voice work and performance technique. Guided by an ATYP industry professional these classes will equip participants with the skills and terminology needed as they progress into the senior classes.
