Description
Hone your acting skills whilst discovering the difference between performing for film or television and for the stage. Learn about on-set technical elements like camera angels, eyelines and marks, explore how to break down a scene quickly as well as some fundamental acting techniques. Put your new techniques to use with some of the most exciting scripts around.
First term classes will focus on skill development, while the second term gives students a chance to use these skills and work together to rehearse and perform chosen scenes from film and television scripts. Through rehearsals and performance young artists will gain skills in voice work script analysis and performance technique. Guided by an ATYP industry professional these classes will equip participants with the skills and terminology needed as they film their work, watch it back and analyse and improve their performance.
