Description
For experienced and committed drama students. Spend a semester exploring an issue or theatrical style and use it to create a piece of theatre. Be involved in every step of the theatre making process from writing, acting, directing and designing. Let our experienced tutor guide you through the devising process, explore and research the issue and create a piece of theatre that comes directly from your own experiences.
First term classes will focus on skill development and ensemble work, while the second term gives students a chance to use these skills and work together to devise a scripted show. Through rehearsals and performance young artists learn the basics of stagecraft, voice work and performance technique. Guided by an ATYP industry professional these classes will equip participants with the skills and terminology needed as they progress into the senior classes.
Entry into this class is via Application Only and commitment to every class is vital.
