WHAT IS A TABLEAU? A tableau is a still moment on stage where the actors are frozen and work together to present a stylised picture for the audience. When creating tableau you need to remeber to:
- consider where the audience is
- present to the audience
- work together with your actors
- use different levels
- communicate character in a still pose
